Tanja's Bobbel Story
Colour gradient bobbles wound by hand with lots of love
Like so many others, I tried to find something positive in the Corona pandemic. During the lockdown, there was a lot of time that needed to be filled.
This is how the idea of turning my hobby into a career came about. I love working with gradient bobbles and thought to myself: "Why not try winding them myself?" No sooner said than done!
I quickly got the equipment and bought the first color cones. Little by little I sold my bobbles to friends and acquaintances. Then I got the impulse: I need my own online shop! And here we are now.
I wind each bobble after the order is received, so there is no stock. Each bobble is individually made. Depending on the volume of orders, there may sometimes be slight delays in delivery times.
This winding technique is characterized by the plied winding. This means that the individual threads are not twisted together, but lie next to each other. The color changes are tied with a so-called "Frankfurt knot". The thread ends are left a little longer. You have the option of incorporating these or simply cutting them off.
From simple to soft to mottled color gradients, there is something for everyone. And if you need something very special for your project, I will try my best to fulfill your wishes.
Gradient bobbles are suitable for a wide variety of projects. Scarves, kite tails, women's or children's clothing such as shirts, tunics, skirts, dresses, vests, ponchos and blankets or tablecloths and runners and much more. There are no limits to your creativity.
Each bobble can be processed both inside and outside, but I recommend processing from the inside.

The wool I use comes from the manufacturer TVU, which is of course certified with Oeko-Tex Standard 100 as well as ISO9001 and ISO14001 by TÜV Rheinland.
